The most active volcano in Europe had experienced an activity in recent hours, but it has escalated to “with increasing intensity”, experts said.

The trees began about 10: 00 p.m. on Sunday evening before reaching a peak three hours later in the middle of the night.
The first drain was detected at an altitude of 8km under the crater area, according to reports.

Italy's National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology said in a statement: “over the past few hours, activity has continued with rising intensity of outbursts that, at the moment, are strongly and almost continuous. During the last few hours, the decline of a small amount of fine ash has been recorded in the area of the Piano vetore”.
The volcano erupted earlier in February, sending hot lava that exploded beneath the mountainside.
