Subject of Criticism
The GHF organisation's event, which operates at the Gaza Strip, is a subject of discussion and debate. The GHF aid organisation is supported by the US and Israel. In May 2025 The GHF started its work at the Gaza Strip, where it opened four relief centres in the south and in the centre of Palestinian territories.

The GHF private aid organisation has been criticised by the UN and humanitarian aid organisations for its efforts to rebuild a long-standing distribution system and problems with neutrality. The US, however, says traditional Gaza relief routes and distributors have been compromised by Hamas. The GHF is also criticised because its work on relief supplies has been associated with chaotic scenes and death.
In early March Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Belt humanitarian aid due to stalled ceasefire talks. The blockade was partially removed only at the end of May. / DW/ Periscope.
