About 60 people, including minors, have been arrested and three police officers have been injured after the riots in San Francisco on Sunday, the city police force has confirmed.
The force has reported that individuals in a group on Sansome and Washington roads became <x0 violent” around 700 with the U.S. time, committing crimes ranging from assault to serious vandalism and property damage, The Guardian reports.
“Two officers suffered life-impressive injuries and one was transported to a local hospital for further medical assistance. The remaining group continued on the streets of Market and Kearny, where individuals vandalised buildings and an SNDP patrol vehicle, while the others separated and continued to vandalise property”, police have announced.
The officers have detained individuals who refused to disperse after a small group continued on the 200 block on Montgomery Street, refusing to leave the area.
