University International College welcomes Prof.dr. Victor Peskin from Arizona State University in a discussion on the role of International Court of Justice for Kosovo in The Hague

Today at campus U n NI NI Universum International College There was a discussion on the subject: “Kosovo Court or a Court for Kosovo? The Special Chamber dilemma”, with the participation of professors and international and local experts in the field of justice and international relations.

The main guest of the event was Prof. Victor Peskin of Arizona State Universityknown for his academic contribution to the field of human rights and international law.

The panel was enriched with prof discussions. Miektek Boduszynski from Pomona College (SHBA), Prof. Stephen Keck, dean in UNI, and attorney Artan Qerkeyni, who brought different prospects for the functioning, influence and legitimacy of this legal mechanism in Kosovo.

This activity marks another important step in the context of increased co-operation between UNI and Arizona State University, aimed at deepening academic dialogue and connecting with global developments in the field of justice and human rights.

The event was attended by students, professors, representatives of institutions and civil society actors who had the opportunity to negotiate and exchange opinions on important issues about the future of justice in the country.
