Ihor Terekhov said that during the night Russia issued 48 fears, as well as two rockets and four slide bombs.
“We have a lot of damage,” he said, adding that three tall residential buildings have been hit. Published images show several floors of such a building involved in flames, reports the BBC.
During the preliminary night, six people were killed and 80 others were injured throughout Ukraine, when Russia undertook a massive attack with over 400 fears and nearly 40 rockets.
Russia said the air strike was a response to the <x0 terrorist actions from the Kiev regime, claiming the targets were military sites.
Russian attacks took place several days after Ukraine launched a series of bold strikes, fearing Russian strategic military aircraft on four air bases within Russia's territory.
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) said that during the operation “Spider's stream” last Sunday at least 40 Russian aircraft were hit.
According to Ukraine, 117 fears were used: initially smuggled into Russian territory, then placed in wooden booths mounted on the back of the trucks and disguised with remote commandal roof.
Trucks later headed to the vicinity of Russian air bases by drivers who seemed unaware of the cargo. The Drons were then released to remote control.
Speaking to reporters Friday evening, US President Donald Trump said Ukrainians “gave Russian President Vladimir Putin a reason to enter and bomb heavily last night”. /Periscope/
