Trump posted a post on his Social Truth platform around 6 p.m. local time Monday in Washington DC (22:00 GMT), claiming that the ceasefire would start entering into force “in approximately 6 hours from now”.
This six - hour period which expired at 0400 GMT (700 a.m. in Israel, 7:30 a.m. in Tehran) meant to allow Iran and Israel to relax and end their final “ ”.
Trump said Iran will begin its first ceasefire (0400 GMT on Tuesday).
Israel will follow 12 hours later at 7:00 local time (16:00 GMT).
Israel must maintain the ceasefire for 12 hours, after which the ceasefire will be considered in full power.
