Trump, a ardent supporter of Israel, has accused Columbia's leadership of “intentional bias” of harassment against Jewish students after the Gaza war protests. Education Secretary Linda McMahon said the university has failed to provide the necessary protection for Jewish students, naming his behaviour as the <x2-> illegal”.
In March, administration Trump suspended $400m in funds for Columbia, including 250 million for its medical schools. The university has started implementing reforms to recover funds.
