US President Donald Trump again cited Kosovo, stressing that the United States “has halted the war between Kosovo and Serbia”.

The United States of America has always had Kosovo in the spotlight, not allowing Serbia to commit acts of aggression against it, Vetevendosje Movement says.

According to this party, which came first in the February 9th parliamentary elections, the US president's statement in the NATO Summit margins -- that “have prevented Serbia from taking action” -- is of great importance in terms of security.

However, according to them, even Kosovo institutions are always vigilant.

Kosovo's continued mention by Trump, according to Vetevendosje Movement MP Arber Rexaj, is an indication of the reconfirmation of US support to Kosovo.

I don't think that in official military formations, with military or conventional war, we would have such a situation when Serbia attacks Kosovo. In the margins of NATO Summit in The Hague, the Kosovo issue was mentioned even by Secretary General NATO Mark Rutte and Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan.

The first stressed that NATO continues to be focused in the region through its troops in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Meanwhile, Turkish President Erdogan said that as long as Turkish KFOR is located in northern Kosovo, he hopes there will be no problem. / KP
