In a typical broad discussion, the U.S. president touched the situation in the Middle East, broadcasting Telegrafi.
Speaking to Maria Bartiromo, he said Iran's nuclear programme is “running as no one has ever seen before” after US planes bombed three major nuclear targets in the country.
“This meant the end of their nuclear ambitions, at least over a period of time”, he added.
“Bomba passed through it as if it were butter, as if it were the absolute butter of the whole country was simply destroyed”, the American president stressed.
When asked if Iran could have moved much enriched uranium from Fordow's place before the attack, Trump insisted this was “very difficult to become”.
The “is too dangerous to do, it's very heavy, very, very heavy, it's a very difficult thing to do”, he said.
Besides, we didn't notice much because they didn't know we were coming by then”, Trump added. /Periscope/
