Albania's Ambassador to Tel Aviv, Mary Kube, in an interview for the “Now show with Erla Maylin”, commented on recent developments in Israel after the ceasefire reached with Iran.
According to her, the situation has been fully restored to normality this afternoon, as she announced that schools will be opened tomorrow and classes resumed. The ambassador stressed that the military has also announced the green signal and said, thankfully, there are no Albanians injured by Iran's attacks.
The afternoon hours are completely different. The city has resumed its life, it has been filled with people, everything to remember the normal life before the launch of attacks. The morning hours were difficult, as there were alarms between 5 and 7 over and over. In the lunch hour, the north of the country was hit, causing suspicion of ceasefire. However, in the last hours of the afternoon, the military declared that everything is green, and from tomorrow the schools start,” she said.
We have returned to normal while we are in constant contact with Albanian citizens and with our community living here. Of the attacks we have no people injured by the Albanian community, while a family has been lucky, as only glass was broken by an explosion near their apartment. ”
We strongly hope that this truce will last long, we hope it will also have an effect on the release of hostages and cease other conflicts in the region, such as the Gaza situation,” it ended. /euronews.al/Periscope.
