According to the Kosovo Correcting Service's announcement, advanced audio and video equipment that has been donated by the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Implementation (INL) has been used to implement this session.
“This is an important step towards modernising the country's correcting and justice system, contributing to increased security during judicial procedures and improving the access of prisoners to judicial processes more efficiently and safely”, said the SHKK's announcement.
Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has said it provides relief to the judicial process, security and efficiency, and avoids the need for physical transport of prisoners.
