Workers of the metallural giant “Trepca” are complaining that, in this company, discrimination is becoming over wages.
A worker of this company, whose identity sought to keep him in hiding, said he has remained in poor financial condition for the Kurban Bajrami holiday because he has not been paid in the contract.
For Klankosova.tv, he said management transferred someone's salary, not someone's.
The “are making divisions, someone's pay, someone's not. Even those who paid them have given them only half of their salary”, he told Clankosova.tv.
This worker said that last month, a part of his colleagues have held a strike to express their frustrations on the very issue.
He even claims that the company's chief executive, Faton Ahmeti, has threatened workers who have participated in that strike, telling them, according to him, that they will remain without salaries.
Clankosova.tv contacted Ahmeti, but the same did not give his version of this claim, but only directed us to the Director of Human Resources at the company, Besim Xhemajli, on the salary issue.
He confirmed there are delays in wages and said this situation is continuing in the past 5-6 months due to budgetary trouble.
Meanwhile, regarding why some workers have been paid and others have not, Xhemajli threw the stone at Ahmeti.
He said this is the budgetary issue the chief executive chief deals with, who, according to Xhemajli, decides which units to issue salaries based on priorities.
Human Resources Director at the company “Trepca” stressed that in the next week, wages of the rest that have not been paid are expected to be executed.
The clan has contacted Chief Ahmeti again on the issue of alleged threat by workers, but he declined to have threatened them, but said he only implemented “legal procedures”.
“in this case does not know what is being treated as a threat. If you treat the implementation of legal procedures as a threat, I don't know what to say in this case”, Ahmeti said briefly.
According to what Klonkosova has learned.tv unofficially, only employees of “Stan Targut” is taking wages in order.
Financial problems are placing the “Three” almost constantly in recent years. Last July, workers from the metallural plant had cut off their work as a sign of dissatisfaction with the wage issue.
Workers' strikes, in search of better conditions and higher wages, have been on time.
