Tahiri: Current power wants to postpone any development until local elections

Former AAK President Besnik Tahiri said the current power is “the silent beneficiary” of the political stalemate. Tahiri wrote on Facebook that the other Albanian parties should not tactfully, but must take certain decisions “that are currently”, Periscope follows. Tahiri wrote on Facebook that the other Albanian parties should not tactfully, but must take some decisions “that now”, follows Periscope.
According to him, these parties should start <x0log inside the former subpositor camp”, should be prepared for the Constitutional Court's decision” and “follow the constitutional deadlines for forming government”.
“If the VV creates government with 61 deputies that is best for change, which will take place in early 2026, and if this government is not created (I believe Kurti does not want this option) then a opposition government should be formed that will take five concrete actions in the first 3 months”, Tahiri wrote among other things.
Sending Faithful Tahiri:
After yesterday's 24th hearing, we have to say some issues right now, the current power is the silent beneficiary of this situation. As the preliminary opposition, we must see this reality.
The current government, with over 350 people -- including the prime minister, deputy prime ministers, ministers, deputy ministers, cabinets and political staff appointed by the party -- continues to stay in the office without new legitimacy. Meanwhile, the country is being analysed and facing uncertainty. This is no coincidence, it is a deliberate strategy to postpone any development until the October local elections. Their silence is not state responsibility, it is a cold account for power and campaign.
Given this strategy, yesterday's opposition should not tacticalise but must take three actions now:
1. Start dialogue within the former opposition camp;
2. Prepare for Constitutional Court's Decision and
3. Following constitutional deadlines for forming government;
If the VV creates government with 61 MPs that is best for change, which will take place in early 2026, and if this government is not created (I believe Kurti does not want this option) then an opposition government should be formed that will take five concrete actions in the first three months:
) Lowering energy prices (calming private sector life)
Growth in public sector wages (motivated state administration for work and reform)
The country's membership in the Council of Europe;
The preparation and management of local elections;
Starting the process of electing the president, being willing to make new choices if this fails.
In short, the opposition holds the removal of the VV's local election headquarters by the central government, which includes over 350 politically employed people, who will be used as means for the municipal campaign. Do not give them time, tools, and institutions to do so without responsibility.
Otherwise, when the local government has been taken, let's not!
