Five suspected narcotics trading suspects arrested in Pristina and Podujevo

Five people have been arrested by police under suspicion of involvement in illegal narcotics trading activities, under an operation coded “Driver”, which took place after a several-month investigation into Pristina and Podujevo.

According to the Police's report, two of the suspects were arrested influenza, while three others were caught in a split action after an operational work of relevant units.

During the raids conducted at three locations in the village of Dumosh in Podujevo, Podujevo and Pristina, various quantities of narcotics, including heroin, cocaine and marijuana, have been seized. Also confiscated cash, mobile phones, drug - measuring units, and two vehicles.

About 810 grams of heroin, over 130 grams of cocaine and several grams of marijuana have been seized. In the next action, where three other persons were arrested, police have seized about 12 grams of marijuana, a precise scale, four phones and a small money sum”, the report said.

At the prosecutor's decision, two of the suspects have been detained for 48 hours, while two others have been sent to holding after the interview. The fifth suspect has been released in regular procedure. /Periscope/
