Serbia denied entry into Kosovo, attempted to enter Russian emblems, pyrotechnic tool

Kosovo police have banned a Serbian citizen at the Merdare border checkpoint, following allegations raised during routine control.

During physical and luggage control, authorities have found and confiscated a spray, a pyrotechnic tool, as well as an emblem with Russian inscriptions.

At the decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspects have been denied entry into the Republic of Kosovo and has been released in regular procedure.

Police are continuing with investigations and procedures under legislation in effect, while responsible institutions are committed to ensuring border security and public order./Periscopi/
