Selling another protein for collage, police find dozens of packages in mails

A person has been arrested under suspicion of involvement in banned trade and production and distribution of harmful medical products.

Police investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption have initially received information that suspected persons are illegally producing and distributing the product “Colagen Peptides 200 g”, which they sell illegally through social networks.

Then, along with Kosovo Customs, they have taken investigative action on the ground and two quick posts through which counterfeit products have been distributed have been located.

The person as well as the object at Ferizaj has been identified, where products are repacked and ambalized.

Police have announced that during the police operation, they have been seized: Ten sacks of r.6000 grams of raw materials, protein “REALMASS”, which after repacking into small packages (spelled plastic box) online has been sold as Colagen, 1500 pieces of plastic ambalmage, imitation of the original product package, 11 packages ready for market sale, and a significant amount of labels with the Kollagen inscription.

Pristina magistrate Peja, at the headquarters of one of the quick posts, has also been found: 30 packages ordered and ready to send to customers,

In Lipjan, too, another quick post office, three ordered and ready packages have been found and confiscated.

The suspect has been interviewed in the presence of his defence attorney, and then, under the prosecution's decision, counseling from the Founding Prosecutor at Ferizaj has been released in regular procedure.
