The joint “Declaration was Tirana's document and was voted by most SEECP member states. Serbia and Bosnia decided not to approve, what is their sovereign right. However, with Kosovo we agreed on an additional statement, stressing that sanctions imposed on it are unfair and should be resolved as soon as the politicians fail to punish, but Kosovo citizens”, President Begaj said, Euronews reports.
He also stressed the importance of regional co-operation in the face of global challenges:
Whatever happens today in the world, it's a risk to our region as well,” said the president.
The SEECP summit was held this Monday in Tirana, under the direction of President Begaj, with the participation of regional leaders. In conclusion, signing the declaration before the official picture of leaders was planned, but that did not happen. /Periscope/
