The kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its strong sentence and deep indignation at Israel's open aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which constitutes a violation of its sovereignty and security, as well as a clear violation of international law and established norms”, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said.
Riyadh warns that such attacks threaten to further destabilise the already fragile security balance in the Middle East and call on the international community to respond urgently.
“While the Kingdom condemns these hateful attacks, it also reaffirms that the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, bears full responsibility to prevent this aggression” immediately, the statement said.
Saudi Arabia has called on all sides to exercise maximum restraint and has called for respecting international law to prevent a new wave of violence in the region. /Periscope/
