Sahin welcomes the Court's decision: If it doesn't apply, ZRE is over court and justice

Commercial Court Today, the decision has been made to suspend the Energy Regulatory Office ( ZRE) for open market until a court ruling.

The chairman of the Kosovo Business Alliance (AKB), Agim Sahin, in a proposal for Periscope has welcomed this decision by the Commercial Court.

Justice and Court are on the right side of Kosovo businesses. We seek from ZRE equal implementation for all businesses on this decision. The ZRE's annulment of the decision and the continuation of the power supply work under universal price rules”, Sahin said.

He has indicated that unless this decision is implemented, businesses will file lawsuits for harm and compensation.

This would be a normality on the contrary if that didn't happen then businesses would even begin to file charges of harm and compensation, even the indictment we filed as protest organisers that we did and have lost time and financial value. Businesses and workers who have been on the streets for hours and that would be much more expensive than the profit of the ZRE or KED's energy price with this decision”, he said.

Sahin has said he expects reflection from ZRE, and hopes that “this decision will be annulled in all”.

Asked what if the ZRE wouldn't carry out the Commercial Court's decision?

Sahin has said that ZRE is above justice in Kosovo.

If ZRE does not implement such a decision then the ZRE is almost above the court, on Kosovo's justice, then we must do a popular protest for ZRE to put pressure on its implementation, but also the prosecutor to stand up again for not implementing the open Comercial Court's decision for temporary suspension”, he said. /Periscope/
