The meeting was held under the summit of the Atlantic Alliance, which is being held in The Hague in the Netherlands.

Rutte has said that he also talked to Rama about the situation in the Western Balkans, support for Ukraine, and increased NATO spending.
Good to see my dear friend Edi Rama again. We discussed the situation in the Western Balkans, our continued support for #Ukraine and the importance of increasing our defence expenses to keep it NATO strong”, Rutte has said.
