The news was made known by American officials quoted by the New York Times. U.S. intelligence writes the U.S. newspaper has not yet identified what Russia can hit, but officials believe Moscow can resume attacks with fear against civilian targets, hit the power grid, or release new high-ray ballistic missiles, writes Theme newspaper, broadcast Periscope.
German officials and experts have the same expectations. In media proposals in Germany, they stress that, the Russian response will certainly be with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and fears.
The targets are unclear, but it seems Kiev will be in focus. Also, it is not impossible for them to explode another “Oreshnik” (a middle-ray missile, red.) with a concrete head to show that they, in principle, are capable of sending a nuclear-point missile to Ukraine.
Therefore, there will be an answer, and it will be massive but, despite Russian dezination campaigns, it will not be nuclear.
At that, it became known that Ukrainian attacks caused power cuts in large parts of Russia's territory controlled by Zaporizhja and Kherson regions in southern Ukraine, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without electricity, officials installed by Russia said on Tuesday.
Officials said there was no effect on operations at the Zaporizhja nuclear power plant the largest nuclear facility in Europe, which was occupied by Russia in the weeks following Moscow's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Russian officials running the plant said radiation levels were normal at the facility, which functions in closing mode and does not generate energy at the moment.
