Russian, US Revenge: Moscow's Answer Will Be Massive

At that, it became known that Ukrainian attacks caused power cuts in large parts of Russia's territory controlled by Zaporizhja and Kherson regions in southern Ukraine, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without electricity, officials installed by Russia said on Tuesday.

Officials said there was no effect on operations at the Zaporizhja nuclear power plant the largest nuclear facility in Europe, which was occupied by Russia in the weeks following Moscow's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Russian officials running the plant said radiation levels were normal at the facility, which functions in closing mode and does not generate energy at the moment.
