Russia called on Israel on Thursday to immediately stop its attacks on Iran's nuclear infrastructure, warning that such actions are illegal under international law and jeopardise the safety of Russian specialists working at one of Iran's nuclear plants.

Zakharova expressed concrete concern for the safety of Russian personnel in Iran.
Moscow also warned the US against any military involvement in continued confrontation.
“We would particularly like to warn Washington against military intervention in this situation, which would be an extremely dangerous step with really unpredictable negative consequences”, she added.

Warnings came amid growing hostilities between Iran and Israel, which intensified after Israel launched a broad military operation last Friday, targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, military sites and top scientific personnel.
