The head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, says Russia offered Ukraine a two-to-three-day ceasefire on parts of the front line so that troops can gather.
Medinsky adds that Russia passed a memorandum for achieving lasting peace and full ceasefire to Ukraine.
As a reminder, during Easter, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a 30-hour ceasefire with little preliminary notice. Each party later accused the other of breaking the truce.
Ukraine has repeatedly called for a 30-day ceasefire, while negotiations on a long-term peace agreement are under way, BBC reported. /Periscopi/
