The head of Ukraine's Air Force Command Communication Department, Colonel Yuri Ihnat, said the Russian attack at night was mainly targeting one of Ukraine's operational airspaces.
Ukraine's Air Force issued air alarms throughout Monday night, warning numerous regions of the threat of ballistic missiles and offensive Shahed-type drones.
In Sunday's evening speech, Ukraine's President Volodyr Zelensky also appealed to Ukrainians to pay attention to warnings of air strikes in the coming days.
He said Kiev continues to work to strengthen Ukraine's air defence. “We urgently need positive signals from the United States regarding air protection systems we are still expecting an answer to our demand to buy systems that can help. ”/Periscope/
