According to his statement, some minor damage has been recorded, but fortunately there are no injuries among American personnel.
He said the embassy and consulate will remain closed today, due to the command to stay in the housing that continues to be in force.
“We will continue to follow the situation closely and take steps to ensure the safety of our diplomatic staff,”, said the ambassador's Huckabee statement.
