Airport authorities have announced that the first Israeli plane trapped abroad due to closed space in the country has arrived at Ben Gurion Airport.
“A short time ago, the first flight has landed at Ben Gurion Airport as part of Operation Safe Action'”, the transport ministry said in a post in telegram, reports BBC, broadcast Periscope.
The flight, operated by El Al, landed Wednesday morning and brought home the Israelites in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Transport Minister Miriv Regev has said they aim at <x0rithias and all Israelis”.
On the other hand, we are also hearing that Polish citizens who are being evacuated from Israel are returning home. The BBC's Adam Easton reports that Poland has completed the first evacuation of its 160 citizens from Israel. /Periscope/
