Rama reports strike by company employees “Passing”

Through a Facebook post, Rama has underlined the support the municipality has for labour and salary rights.

During this period that the workers are on strike for what we regret that they have been forced to be here we have constantly waited for in the municipality and we have held dozens of meetings with employees' representatives, to hear their demands, and to find legal solutions for the better of citizens and employees of the company, who will stop the strike today! ” wrote Rama.

The head of the capital said they agreed with the workers today, but that does not mean that the municipality agrees with the approach of the company's current management.

According to him, this management has contributed to the deterioration of the waste situation in the capital, including dezination of workers, for certain political agendas.

Therefore, we ʹ as we've said before representatives of the KM workers “Cleaning” we remain committed to the right, legal and service of citizens and employees of the “Cleaning”” wrote Rama.

Dear citizens,

Our position for employees of the “Cleaning” has always been clear:

We support the workers' right to work and pay, and we have insisted on finding solutions so that citizens will not remain without this vital service, and the capital will not be covered by waste.

For this reason, there were several hearings that we have requested from the Municipal Assembly subvention of their salaries, as an urgent and necessary step, which the opposition itself has not voted on.

During this period that the workers are on strike for what we regret that they have been forced to be here we've kept waiting for them in Komuna and we've held dozens of meetings with employee representatives, to hear their demands, and to find legal solutions for the good of the citizens and employees of the company, who will stop the strike today!

We've agreed with the workers today, but that doesn't mean we agree with the approach of the current management, which unfortunately has contributed directly to the deterioration of the trash situation in the capital, including the deinformation of workers for certain political agendas, and in this form by leaving the city without the service of waste collection, which has endangered public health in the capital.

Therefore, we ʹ as we've said before representatives of the KR employees “Cleaning” we remain committed to the right, legal and service of citizens and employees of the company “Cleaning”.

We have offered these solutions, which have resulted in acceptable for workers as well:

) We've agreed that the issue of paying services performed in January May be addressed to the competent Court and that this issue be resolved by mediation agreement.

) After the Supreme Court's decision, we agreed that the KR “Cleaning” will make its injection for the delivery of waste collection service.

) In view of this, the tools listed by the capital during this period, in the immediate term to be transferred to the company “Cleaning”.

In the end, I would like to announce to the citizens of Pristina that all those who have made payments this year in the municipality will be forwarded to the company “Cleaning” and their payments will be recognised and accepted!
