Rama at The Hague: NATO Role in Building a Military Terminal

Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has held a meeting with NATO Secretary General and his old friend, Mark Rutte, within the framework of the NATO Summit being held at The Hague. In a post on social networks, Rama has indicated that the Alliance's commitments in the Western Balkans were the focus of the conversation, as well as the strategic project of the Durres Port, where NATO is expected to have an important role in the commitment to building a military terminal.
Another key point of discussion was preparation for the NATO Summit, to be held in Tirana in 2027, a development that reinforces Albania's role under the North Atlantic Alliance.
The meeting took place under joint efforts to strengthen security, stability and international co-operation in the region and beyond. /Periscope/
