At Dukagjin'S FIVE, Rafuna stressed that although Oda and the private sector are not against the free market, implementation has been wrong and unprepared.
“No business is and has not been against the free market. We didn't say we were against free market exit either. But you can't get business out violently without preparing the market. The suppliers had to be licensed, found very serious suppliers. To be brought to the EU, not only by Macedonia and Albania. And after the market was prepared, it had to be forwarded to a package which the Ministry of Economy and Energy had to carry into force for liberalisation of the alternative energy market. Especially for solar panels, on the production of businesses, which cannot be sold either by rain or by compensation to any electricity supplier. And then it had to work with businesses to see what business plans are and what's the moment for free market.
What happened to us? Our announcement has come, it's been public, it's not even addressed through the umbrella, it's been through the media, which on June 1, 1300 businesses will be on the free market. Businesses that have more than 50 employees or that have circulation of over 10 million. And no one's ever asked business, never from ZRE, ever did a study to see if the market was prepared. And it's never been seen in the sense of transparency and public-private dialogue as to when 1 June is the right moment”, Rafuna said. /Periscope/
