Russian President Vladimir Putin, in separate telephone conversations Friday, has told Iran's president that Moscow condemns Israel's actions against Tehran, while the Israeli prime minister has told him that issues about Iran's nuclear programme can only be resolved through diplomacy, Reuters reports.
A Kremlin statement says Putin has told Iranian President Masoud Peschian that Russia “condemns Israeli actions that have been taken against the UN Charter”, and has expressed condolences for those killed.
