According to the report, a total of 3117 births were registered during 2024, including both the births within Kosovo's territory and those of Kosovo citizens located abroad.
Within Kosovo alone, the number of registered births was 21 487. Of these, 11 115 were male babies (or 51.7%), while 10 372 were female (or 48.3%), showing a slight higher percentage of boys' birth in relation to girls.
The data is provided by the Kosovo Civil Register Agency, which is responsible for formal birth registration in all municipalities in Kosovo respectively. /Periscope/
