During the meeting, recent developments in Kosovo and the region were discussed, bilateral relations between Kosovo and Norway, as well as the importance of continued support from Norway on Kosovo's road towards Euro-Atlantic integration.
President Osmani expressed gratitude for the continued support Norway has given Kosovo at any stage of statehood, stressing that this support is essential in efforts for membership in international organisations.
It underlined the need for Kosovo to become a member of the Council of Europe as soon as possible and move towards membership in Euro-Atlantic structures. Other topics of common interest were discussed at the meeting, and commitment was reaffirmed to deepening the partnership between the two countries. /Periscope/
