Iran's president, Masoud Peskian, says the country will respect a ceasefire declared by US President Donald Trump, provided Israel also maintains its terms, reports the State News Agency of the Islamic Republic (IRNA).
In a call with Malaysia's Prime Minister Anar Ibrahim, Peseschian says that if Israel “does not break the truce, Iran will not violate it”.
The Iranian people have shown once again that despite certain problems and complaints, they will remain united against the enemy's invasion until the end of”, he says, as the BBC writes.
