President Begaj: June 10th 1878 was, is and remains the foundation of the national union

Under the mark of the 147th anniversary of the founding of the Albanian League of Prizren, Republic of Albania President Bajram Begaj stressed the historic and symbolic importance of this date for the Albanian nation, considering it the foundation of the movement for unity and national independence.

He said Albania and Kosovo are two states of a nation they move forward side by side on the road towards European integration, reports EO, broadcast Periscope.

June 1878 was, and will remain the political and spiritual foundation of the national union. It's the day the national independence movement started. This day's play lit the torch of freedom, but its legacy lives today in every effort to develop, well-being, for the spiritual and cultural union of Albanians.
