But, so far, only 2 political parties have announced to the CEC that in these elections they will compete together, hinting that political parties prefer that in local elections, they do the race without formalised political unions in the CEC.
According to the recent announcement by CEC spokesman Valmir Elesi, by Friday only two political parties -- Democraticska Stranka Bošnjaka and Democraticska Stranka Vatan, named “Koalicija Vacat” -- have announced they will seek certificate for participation in coalition elections, says eo.
According to the CEC, on June 23rd the deadline for political parties to announce that they do not want to participate in the elections.
Elez has said that “under the General Election Law, within 15 days of announcing the election date from Kosovo's president, the registered political party, which does not want to be certified for elections, should announce the Office that does not compete in the elections, or that the political party will request certificate through the coalition in line with this law”. /Periscope/
