Police prevent smuggling to the north, guarantee 220 decorative trees

According to the official announcement, the event took place on the evening of June 23rd 2025, when police units have identified a tractor with improvised trailer by illegally entering from the village of Trrnoca Bujanoc (Serbia) to the village of Hodonoc é Kamenica (Kosovo).
During the search in the courtyard of an uninhabited house in the village of Hodonoc, owned by the person N. P., the suspected trailer has been found, which according to data turns out to be the property of suspect L. I., resident of Hodonoc.
In his presence, police found that the trailer was packed with decorated wood for distribution in Kosovo, equipped with labels suggesting sending through local mail.
According to data provided, the value of goods totals about 7,000 euros, including losses from avoiding customs duties.
In co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, transport and smuggled goods have been seized and sent to the customs terminal, where legal procedures will follow.
Kosovo police announce they will continue their commitment, in co-operation with competent institutions, to prevent criminal activities, including smuggling goods to all parts of the country. /Periscope/
