Police operations in several nightclubs in Prizren, weapons seized

Kosovo police have announced that on Saturday evening in Prizren, in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor, they have conducted an operation where several nightclubs (bar-lowge) have been controlled.

The four suspects have been found during the operation, and another has been found and seized with a firearm.

Suspects have been detained for 48 hours.

“During this operation several overnight locals (bar-lowing) have been checked, with five suspects being arrested, interviewed in the presence of defence lawyers, and sent to police detention for 48 hours by state prosecutor's decision. Weapons and seized means will serve as material evidence in criminal procedure that has been initiated against suspects for criminal work: Keeping possession, control or unauthorized possession of arms” has announced Kosovo Police./Periscopi/
