A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, destined for Ho Chi Minh City, hit the tail of an Airbus A321 who was waiting for the rise to Dien Bien.
Boeing's right-wing top touched Airbus's vertical stabilizer, causing apparent damage to both aircraft and scattered waste on the runway.
However, none of the 386 passengers were injured, and everyone received alternative flights.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Airbus may have stopped before the projected rise point, while weather conditions were clear, thus excluding atmospheric factors as a cause./Periscopi/
