Police in Vushtrri arrest three people suspected of a domestic violence case, seized weapons and ammunition

By June 16, 2025, about 10: 00 p.m., police in Vushtrri had been informed of a case of domestic violence where the victim had announced that the husband and family members had abused her physically.

Police had immediately interned on that occasion, but they had encountered resistance to the arrest of the suspects and were hampered by another family member. After the situation had been brought under control and the three suspected persons had been arrested, at the order of the caretaker prosecutor, a search had been conducted in the settlement of suspects with whom an air rifle, a hunting rifle, an M-48 rifle, an arch, a knife, and a considerable amount of various ammunition and arch arrows had been found. Weapons and ammunition have been confiscated and prosecuted as material evidence. The victim has accepted medical treatment because of injuries suffered.

With the prosecutor's decision, three persons suspected in the case have been assigned the 48-hour police detention measure.
