The flight from Berlin landed safely in Memmingen, about 115km (70 km) west of Munich, as bad weather prompted the pilot to begin emergency landing, Bavari police said in a statement.
Among those injured was a woman who suffered a head injury, her two-year-old child who suffered bruises and a 59-year-old woman complaining about back pain, police said. All three were treated at the hospital, while other injuries were dealt with at the scene.
Ryanair said in a statement Thursday that the flight captain had sought medical assistance before the landing.
The airline, which apologised to the affected, said it offered a bus service from Memmingen to Milan late Wednesday, as well as a replacement flight early Thursday.
