In a Facebook post, she said everyone should do their part, keep democracy alive in the country and refuse as she says authoritarianism.
Among other things, she also mentioned Benjamin Franklin's talk when the U.S. Constitutional Convention was completed, which had said:”Republish, if you can keep it”
After the conclusion of the U.S. Constitutional Convention (1787), a citizen approached Benjamin Franklin and asked: So, doctor, what did you give us? Republic or monarch? Franklin answered by saying, The republic, if you can keep it”, Citaku said.
