PDK: ZRE in service of monopolies, not citizens- battle will continue at court

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has indicated that it has accepted the decision of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE), which has refused their administrative opposition to the decision obliging over 1,300 local businesses to switch to the free electricity market. It is said to be a step that [...]

In PDK announcement it is said to be a step that endangers thousands of jobs and seriously violates the country's economic stability, broadcasts Periscope.

“This is a deeply unfair, unprofessional, one-sided and political edged decision at all. Z The RRE, which should be an institution in service of the country's citizens and economy, has chosen to close its eyes to the catastrophic consequences of this decision on the private sector, the main pillar of economic development and employment in Kosovo”, the PDK report said.

Among other things, this political subject stresses that the matter in question will be sent to court.

“We have raised our voices and we will continue to raise it. Our war does not stop with a denial letter. Our struggle is for business rights that barely survive in a difficult economic climate. Our struggle is for workers, for their salaries, for the welfare of their families”, the PDK report said.

“The PDK announces that this fair battle will continue at the tribunal. We are convinced that the right is on our side and that we will not stop against any institution that implements harmful policies, without social sensitivity and without state responsibility”.

The PDK adds it is with the voice of more than 150 thousand private sector workers, “who today face the risk of losing jobs due to affordable energy bills”.
