Thursday's Constitutional Court Act brought 30 days as a timeline to force Kosovo's sworn deputies to make the dedication and election of the mayor and his deputy chairmans.
The Constitution says the sentence has been taken in terms of assessing the constitutionality of Kosovo's “decision of refusing to form the Commission for secret voting, as well as all other decisions that have the same nature as those made at preliminary and subsequent hearings on the same issue, contained in the document, entitled "translitership of the Assembly Constituent Meeting of the Republic of Kosovo, held on 15, 17, 21, 23, 27, April 29, May 3, and May 5251)
Plotting the request to the Constitutional Court for the act yesterday is AAK MP Time Kadrijaj, and ten other Parliament deputies.
After publishing by the Constitution, Kadrijaj for Clankosova.tv stressed that he welcomes the act of prejudice, as well as the work of this institution of justice as a professional one.
The same said they did not want to interfere with statements until a decision was made.
I think we've done a good job. I'm happy today, even though we haven't spoken to and we don't have to interfere, with the Constitutional Court's justice. I am reading in detail, however, there is good news that the time has been set, now this period that we have to do for as many months as the Kosovo Assembly is not being dedicated, Bajrami has said.
And I'm thinking the court has done a good job, I thank him for the good and professional work. Many things have now been clarified, the ruling parties, now the Vetevendosje Movement has only one month to elect the parliamentary and there is no indefinite period of”.
Asked whether the extraordinary elections will be held if the Parliament is not implemented for a month, Kadrij replied: “I don't see, we will see how the events are going to run after this decision, we have the session to see that now after that decision on how things flow, and how political parties will exploit this” decision.
The AAK MP added that the bias in question should be respected by the first party to appear in the February 9th elections, the Vetevendosje Movement.
“The Constitutional decisions we must respect, as the Alliance has fulfilled in full every time it has had a Constitutional decision, even LVV itself has been pending the decision on what the decision will be, in fact we are being called into the Constitutional Court's decision that it gives LVVV the right to propose the candidate for the prime minister”, Kandrijaj added.
Meanwhile, the deputy of The PDK, Progress Gruda, has stated that the Vetevendosje Movement is required to compromise for the candidate or candidate to head the Assembly.
Gruda confirmed that VV needs to make changes to the candidate for speaker of the Parliament.
The Constitutional Court's decision is extremely clear, the first is not allowed hidden judgment, and the court has clearly determined that procedures will be conducted according to the Constitution, the regulation and the practice of parliamentary derivative, which has never contained the hidden” vote.
The second “Constitutional Court requires compromise by the party proposing the candidate for chairman, is required to compromise the process, and is asked to the party which proposes the candidate, so this form of constitution should be respected and compromise must be made. Compromise is candidate change so that we can open up the way to vote”, Gruda said.
He also stated that: “This sentence in conclusion argued our claims that we are dealing with a non-religious session and with a party's relatively non-religious behaviour that has won the” elections.
On the other hand, Paris Guri, the LDK deputy, for Clankosova.tv said they welcome the Constitutional Court's decision.
According to him, it is clear that the largest parliamentary group cannot block the constitution.
This decision above all clarified that the leader of the constitutional session should observe the constitutional provisions, Chapter IV of the Work of the Parliament and the adjacent parliamentary practices, as well as return the agreed constitutional session scenario to proceed with an open vote”.
“If the first party acts on the basis of this JPC decision, then give up the secret vote is constitutionalised in Parliament”, Guri said.
The Vetevendosje Movement has said that today's Constitutional Court act stresses that the obligation to complete the assembly's constitutionalisation is due to all MPs, and not only to the first subject.
According to the VV, the mayor's election and vice-presidents are on equal level, and according to them, the secret vote, in which the VV is insisting, does not represent violations of the Constitution.
The Assembly, which has not been able to make a living since April 15th, when the first constitutional session was held today, will be collected from 11:00 for the first time since the Constitutional decision entered into force.
Meanwhile, sessions in the 37th attempt to functional parliament failed Wednesday. Even that session, like those of old, failed with the same reason, the failure of the commission to vote in secret for the election of Kosovo's Assembly head, Klankosova reported.tv.
