In her speech, President Osmani said that “nere is the Day of Liberation in Kosovo, the day when our people were finally released from a genocide regime a day honouring the courage of those who fought for our freedom, the memory of those who gave the greatest sacrifice and the power of alliances that helped us when we needed most. ”
The president stressed, however, that, “sot, Kosovo is a democracy that looks towards the future, led by rule of law, with a new visionary and deeply devoted generation to Euro-Atlantic values. ”
She also talked about Kosovo's reports with Japan.
Japan's continued support for our people, especially after the war and during various stages of reconstruction, will never be forgotten. It has the solid foundation of our friendship today. As Kosovo continues its path of developing and strengthening its international position, we look forward to further deepening this partnership”, Osmani said. /Periscope/
