“Aleance with the US in the field of defence empowers the state and sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo”, Osmani has said at this meeting.
The presidency said Osmani expressed high appreciation for the continued support Ioua Guard has given The KSF in developing and advancing operational capacities, which were successfully demonstrated during the joint international exercise “Defeder Europe 2025x1>.
It singled out the fact that this year, within this exercise, Kosovo had the honour of hosting the 28th American Army Infantry Division Tactic Command, and that members of the National Guard of Iowa were an active part of the joint force operating on Kosovo territory.
At the meeting, President Osmani also expressed sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the possibility that a KSF contingent was given to perform joint exercises at the Joint Readiness Training Centre in Louisiana, along with members of the Iowa Guard and other US Allied forces”, was said at the Presidency's announcement.
