President Osmani has set October 12th 2025, date of holding regular local elections
Republic of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has scheduled 12 October 2025 for holding regular local elections in the Republic of Kosovo.
This decision has been taken after careful review of the political subjects' proposals, as well as a thorough analysis, in line with constitutional and legal deadlines.
The appointment of this date aims to enable full preparation of the election process by responsible institutions, including the Central Election Commission and other relevant institutions, in order to respect the highest standards of election administration.
This date provides the necessary space for technical and logistics organisation for all forms and voting procedures under legal determination.
President Osmani has called on all political subjects, civil society organisations and citizens to approach this process with full responsibility in office to ensure a comprehensive, fair and fair process.
