In the Constitutional Court in Pristina, in the case of accused Avdimitaj, Veron Hasani and Ardian Huli for hooliganism and assault on police officers in the 2015 protests, quality witness Ekrem Vlasa said that during that protest, he was hit with a concrete bomb.
“Exactly at “Swiss Diamond” across the street, on my right side, has come a series of pieces of concrete and stones and there I've been hit by a concrete cube and forced to retreat with the help of two close colleagues and have put me in autobulance and accompanied to QKUSC3>, the witness said.
Vlada stated that at the moment the protests started, protesters have begun throwing strong stakes in the direction of police officials, such as concrete bricks and metal pieces, reports “Battle for Justice”, broadcast Periscope.
Asked by prosecutor Blerim Igrisha where he was located, the witness said that before the protest killed him, he was standing on the cord behind the shields before the government's target.
We've been placed before the Government's object -- exactly I've been behind the shield cord, or as it's called in the police dictionary at “operative tactical” and we've started distributing the crowd towards the Pajaziti” Square, he added.
Police officer Vlasa pointed out that because there were a lot of people who shot at him, he couldn't identify the person who hit him.
There have been many who have been hunting in my direction and I have a problem identifying who it was”, Vlasa said.
For this, he said it was a group of 30 or 40 people who have fired various tools in his direction.
Then, the session was interrupted because there were no conditions to continue.
Otherwise, according to the Constitutional Prosecutor's Act in Pristina, founded on December 17th 2015, Egzon Azemi, Luan Hoti, Naim Bunjaku, Consult Avdimetaj, Veron Hasani and Ardian Huli are charged.
