The Central Election Commission has decided on the appointment of 216 members of the Municipal Election Commissions in 38 municipalities in Kosovo, which represent different political subjects for the October 12th elections.
At today's meeting, the plan for education and local election information was also established.
This plan aims to inform every citizen with the right to vote, regardless of age, gender, particular needs, settlement or ethnic affiliation. This plan also included all activities for each of the phases of the election process and co-operation with various institutions to send information, messages for the election process to voters and to parties of interest through various means of communication”
“For drafting this plan, legal requirements, experiences from past election processes and recommendations derived from reports, analysis, research and specific documents following various election processes”, said a CEC report.
At today's Central Election Commission meeting, it was also stressed that the race for the 12 October local elections will enter two coalitions, while five parties have withdrawn. /Periscopi
