LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku said Bukoshi remained a figure of vision and firm conviction for the state of Kosovo, stressing his role as party co-creator.
Today, when we look back, we realize how big the load was. Our political history often became harsh, he remained a visionary figure, and with conviction that Kosovo will become righteous. He was a co-signer of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Kosovo. From March 2011, he served as deputy prime minister. We do not just share the pain, but we share the responsibility that his trust will take forward. We are generations to preserve the inheritance. Let's work for the State because only then does Bukoshi's sacrifice become feasible. He was one of our founders and without him the history of the LDK cannot be understood. We will understand it as the party's cofounder, we will always remember it as the man who taught us service to the country”, Abdixhik said.
Buchoshi's daughter, Bujar Bukoshi's clock, exclaimed that he was a devoted parent, husband, and grandfather to his family.
She added that the value of his works brings comfort to the family's loss.
For us he was always here, for us he was a parent, a husband and a grandfather with love and commitment to our family. Today my words fade. He would certainly throw in a sense of humor. In our pain there is great comfort when such works are valued”, she said.
