U n NICEF said 5,119 children aged between six months and five were admitted to hospital for acute malnutrition treatment only last month. This is an increase of almost 50 percent from the number of hospital hospital hospital children in April.
“in just 150 days, from the beginning of the year until the end of May, 16,736 children, on average, 112 children per day have been admitted to treatment for malnutrition at the Gaza Strip”, Eduard Beigbeder, director of the agency for the Middle East and North Africa said in a statement.
